TAXATION
We are now at a point were continuing our current form of taxation, will strip us of our remaining jobs, middle class and industry. Our own system is the "polio" of our welfare. We have gone to the brink of economic disaster and instead of administering a cure, we injected our economy with a big dose of.....debt. Talk about the Dr. Devorkian method of assisted suicide......we have set ourselves up for DBD...Death by Debt. My business stance is we must change the models of setting up business...., but we should at the same time, take a sustainable step of Tax Reform at the same time that business/tax become compatible and spur the economy. The Fair Tax, or Consumption Tax when implemented can in its self be, the antidote or antibiotic needed, in treating our current system.
Our current system, is based on the Communist Manifesto form of taxation; graduated income tax. Now how did we ever embrace or contract this malignant form of taxation? I don't know, I do know, it has metastasized and needs to be removed before we can really revive our jobs, industry, and cost of living.
I will as your Congressman support the reform of taxation and work to move us toward the Fair Tax program. Currently, you work to pay a tax....under the Fair Tax you pay a tax when you purchase a product or service. Thus, you obtain value when paying the tax and then receive another item of value in the form of government representation and or government service. Now that is leveraging your own pay to lower the cost of living......Gee, if an ordinary citizen like myself can see how the hammer falls you bet I would not let it fall on my thumb!
Business, would pay taxes when buying material and services otherwise, no other taxes. Thus lowering their tax burden and spurring growth.
Fine how do we approach this? The American people must be empowered with courage to risk voting for people who are in the mindset of doing what is expected, representing the People! I am running to represent people and based on this website you must agree, to work for common sense solutions!
