PEOPLE
This is my number one issue. I believe that the government has lost sight of why and who elects them. I want to make an impact in bringing government back to a "people-centered government". We must balance on one side a fair market, and to the other, fair trade. When we see our government protecting and giving tax money to the very people who caused our economic meltdown, you know there is something wrong. When you see your government assisting big businesses, closing doors here and shipping jobs to other countries, you know there is something wrong. When you see our government doing nothing about over-priced utilities and energy, you know there is something wrong. When you see Americans struggling and our country sending money overseas as opposed to helping their own, you know there is something wrong. When you see our government doing more for big businessed and special interests before representing the People, you know there is something wrong!
When you see something wrong, do you continue to vote for the same party politics, or do you want something different?
We must not abandon the future of our children. We must not abandon ourselves, or our fellow citizens. I am running for Congress so that I can bring people to the forefront of government.
My service as Congressman will see that I take into account people first. I will apply three basic principles when making decisions and defending our way of life. My three principles are as follows:
Citizen benefit
Tax dollar used wisely
Constitution, Country
These principles will be the driving force of my service to my country. Your citizenship gives you the right to be represented.........your vote determines success!
